Function Staff

We are looking for function staff to work with us covering our events and private functions. Our functions and events can range from weekends to weekdays, and from day to night. If you have flexibility to cover any of these then we can offer shifts as and when required.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility for bar staff is to ensure excellent product delivery and a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and fellow staff, in addition you will:

• Ensure customers are greeted and made welcome and served with courtesy and efficiency

• Serve various beverages including wine, and bottled or draft beer

• Process customer payments

• Mix ingredients in order to prepare cocktails and other drinks

• Slice and prepare fruit for garnishing drinks

• Where necessary check identification of customers in order to verify age requirements

• Collect and clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment

• Clean bars, work areas, and tables

Skills & Experience

We are looking for function staff with previous experience of working in a busy, fast-paced bar.

You will also need to demonstrate:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong customer focus

• Team working skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and to work in a busy environment

• An eye for detail

• Vibrant, enthusiastic, friendly nature
