Matchday Bar Staff

We are looking for bar staff to work with us on matchdays at St James Park, this could be behind the main bar in The Venue or in our matchday hospitality suite. Brackley Town Football Club usually play on a Saturday where working hours start from 12:00pm. We occasionally have matches on a Tuesday evening where working hours begin from 5:00pm.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility for bar staff is to ensure excellent product delivery and a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and fellow staff, in addition you will:

  • Ensure customers are greeted and made welcome and served with courtesy and efficiency

  • Serve various beverages including wine, and bottled or draft beer

  • Process customer payments

  • Mix ingredients in order to prepare cocktails and other drinks

  • Slice and prepare fruit for garnishing drinks

  • Where necessary check identification of customers in order to verify age requirements

  • Collect and clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment

  • Clean bars, work areas, and tables

Skills

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong customer focus

  • Team working skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and to work in a busy environment

  • An eye for detail

  • Vibrant, enthusiastic, friendly nature
